Revisan was founded around 1925. Life was slower then. Plenty of time was taken to achieve a delicious product, the result of years of working experience and following a trial and error method, in order to achieve the optimum point of flavour, texture and aroma.
Today, Revisan Ibéricos is a family business run by the 3rd and 4th generations of the Revilla family who continue to maintain the same philosophy: the product must be excellent, but with the added advantage that technology provides in the production process.
With a tradition and technique passed down from generation to generation, Revisan continues to innovate, the continuous search for productive and business excellence still being its main strategy.
Our Ravida and San Miguel pastures cover an area of around 1,000 hectares, both having an extensive mainstream farming area, with Iberian pig, cattle and sheep farming coexisting side by side.
In order to guarantee the maximum quality of our products, at Revisan we are firmly committed to the preservation of the Iberian pig and we control all stages of the cycle, from its birth and breeding in the fields to the obtaining of the final product, which represents the culmination of this laborious process. All of this while taking into account animal welfare and looking after the environment.
