The origins of Cecinas Pablo go back to Cárnicas Pablo, a butcher’s shop in the center of the town of Astorga. Facing the impossibility of finding traditional cured meats and sausages, they began to manufacture them in the basement of their establishment, recovering the traditional process. In 1993, the Cecinas Pablo brand started its activity in the new facilities. Since then it has undergone two expansions, as a result of the constant growth in domestic sales and exports.
Today Cecinas Pablo is known in 28 countries around the world for its beef “Cecina” (whole pieces, halves or blocks; polished or molded, sliced), its special selection “cecina”, its chorizo de león (sweet and spicy), salchichón de león, black garlic chorizo, beef chorizo, cecina sausage, maragato chorizo for cooking (sweet/spicy), bodega serrano ham, bodega smoled ham, 50% Iberian ham, 100% acorn-fed Iberian ham, maragato loin, pastrami, truffled beef sausage and recent novelties such as jerky cruchips, fuet, jerky, ham and chorizo sticks.
